I am an OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA) qualified International Road Haulage Transport Manager with over 20 years of experience in the UK transport and logistics industry, specialising in Operator Licence compliance, fleet safety, transport operations, DVSA compliance and regulatory best practice.

During my career I held senior transport management positions within Royal Mail Group, including Traffic Office Manager at Princess Royal Distribution Centre (Park Royal), one of Royal Mail's largest Vehicle Operating Centres in the United Kingdom. I also gained valuable operational experience supporting transport activities at National Distribution Centre (Crick) and Greenford Vehicle Operating Centre, managing large fleets, transport compliance, maintenance planning, driver supervision and Drivers' Hours compliance.

In addition to my management experience, I hold a Category C+E (Class 1) HGV licence and have practical driving experience operating articulated vehicles with curtain-sided, refrigerated (fridge), container, box and double-deck trailers. This operational background enables me to deliver practical, commercially focused compliance solutions based on real-world experience rather than theory alone.

Since 2015 I have been Managing Director of Transwift Ltd, providing professional Transport Manager services, Operator Licence compliance, tachograph analysis, transport audits, OCRS improvement strategies and ongoing compliance support for road transport operators.

Alongside my transport career, I recently graduated with First Class Honours in Software Engineering and developed FleetSafetyCheck, an innovative SaaS platform designed to improve fleet safety, digital vehicle inspections and regulatory compliance through modern technology.

I work with operators who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of legal compliance, road safety and professional transport management. My objective is to help businesses build robust, audit-ready transport operations that remain compliant every day of the year—not only when the DVSA calls.
