I'm a CPC-qualified Transport Manager. I act as the external Transport Manager named on your standard national or restricted goods licence, and I take on the statutory side of the job so you don't have to.

Having driven HGVs myself, I understand drivers' hours, tachographs and walkaround checks from the cab — not just the textbook — and I come from a logistics and import background where scheduling, maintenance discipline and paperwork have to be right first time.

Day to day that means drivers' hours and Working Time monitoring, tachograph analysis, maintenance and PMI systems, driver defect reporting, OCRS management, VOL submissions and licence variations, and keeping your policies and driver briefings current.

I work on a proper contract for services with genuine, continuous and effective management — not a name-on-paper arrangement. I take on a limited number of operators so each one gets the attention the licence requires.
