Hello, my name is Lloyd Howells and my company Transport-Able provides transport management and consultancy services.

I have been involved in the transport industry for over 20 years. In my early career I started out as a transport manager's assistant for a coach company with a fleet of 25 vehicles. I gained considerable experience managing operations and enforcing compliance regarding drivers hours and maintenance . During this time I had the relevant training to perform vehicle maintenance inspections on both passenger and goods vehicles. The coach company also ran an approved training centre where I assisted with transport manager cpc qualifications, and provided practical driver instruction for categories D1, D, C, C1 and C+E. Further, I went on to become a DVSA approved assessor and ISO 9001:2015 auditor as detailed below in my qualifications. 

Present day, my company Transport-Able provides external transport management and consultant services for both sectors. Me and my team have been external TM's for all types of companies. We pride ourselves on implementing robust systems and possessing the required knowledge to keep your company compliant: in line with standards the DVSA and the Traffic Commissioner expect when under the O licence regime.

• Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage
• Certificate of Professional Competence in Passenger Transport
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor
• Driver CPC 3a Assessor
• Driver CPC Module 4 Assessor (testing candidates for example on being able: to load the vehicle, following safety rules, do a walk around vehicle safety check)
• Categories C+E & D Driving Instructor
• Category C+E Vocational Licence
• Category D Vocational licence
