I have worked within the transport and logistics industry since 2012, initially as a tanker driver, gaining extensive practical experience in day-to-day transport operations, compliance and fleet management. In 2019, I successfully completed and passed the Transport Manager CPC (Road Haulage) first time.

I took on the role of Transport Manager on a permanent basis in 2023 and currently oversee a fleet of 13 vehicles and 32 trailers operating across three sites. My responsibilities include ensuring the fleet operates safely and compliantly, managing driver and vehicle requirements, monitoring maintenance and statutory inspections, and keeping up to date with current transport legislation and industry requirements.

In March 2026, I expanded my professional role by becoming an External Transport Manager, providing transport management and compliance support alongside my existing operational experience. This allows me to combine formal transport management knowledge with practical, hands-on experience gained from working within the industry at both driver and management level.

I take a practical and proactive approach to transport management, with a strong focus on legal compliance, road safety, effective fleet management and maintaining high operational standards.
