Proven track record of managing complex transport operations, large driver teams, mixed HGV fleets and customer contracts while maintaining high standards of legal compliance, road safety, vehicle maintenance and operational performance.

Experienced in supporting and managing Operator Licence compliance, drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements, Working Time Directive compliance, vehicle roadworthiness, defect management, driver performance, investigations and corrective action.

A confident and commercially aware leader with extensive experience managing teams of up to 60 drivers, fleets of up to 30 tractor units and 44 routes, as well as multi-site operations. Strong relationship-builder with experience working directly with senior management and director-level customers.

Combines hands-on industry experience with formal qualifications including National CPC in Road Freight Transport, IOSH Managing Safely, ADR and Driver CPC. Particularly strong in identifying compliance risks, implementing corrective action, developing driver competence and improving operational standards.
