With over 40 years of experience in the commercial vehicle and transport industry, I have built a career that has taken me from Truck Technician to Operations Director at Renault Trucks UK, before moving into senior fleet engineering and compliance roles within a major UK haulage operation. This breadth of experience provides a unique combination of technical expertise, operational leadership, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

My career has included senior leadership roles with Renault Trucks and Mercedes-Benz, followed by a Fleet Engineer position with one of the UK's major container haulage operators, where I was responsible for fleet compliance, Operator Licence management, maintenance standards, driver compliance, and DVSA liaison across multiple depots.

I have extensive experience conducting compliance audits, managing Operator Licence undertakings, investigating MOT failures, implementing corrective actions, and supporting DVSA audits and licence variations. My practical, hands-on approach helps operators maintain compliance, protect their Operator Licence, and avoid costly enforcement action.

Today, as a qualified CPC Holder, I provide External Transport Manager services to operators who require experienced, professional support from someone who understands transport compliance from the workshop floor to boardroom level.
