Served on the Road Traffic Division of Derbyshire Constabulary often working with the Ministry of Transport Officers (now DVSA) Having left the Police service I got involved in Transport doing all manner of jobs from planning, selling both via phone and in person, driving delivering JIT deliveries all over the UK and Europe, I ran an overnight delivery depot in Derby for The Nationwide Courier Company of Darlaston, I ran the Derby office of TNT Sameday taking it from £1500/week to in excess of £10,00 / week with a best week in excess of £45,000. I passed my National CPC Road Haulage in 2002 with refresher course with the RHA in 2019 &2024, I am a professional member of the RHA and AMSOE AMIRTE. My CPD is up to date with RHA meeting, Microlise Conferences and meet the Traffic Commissioner events.

I have attended some 10 Public Inquiries some with a Specialised Transport Solicitor and some with myself assisting the Operator, my repute has never been in jeopardy and so far to date have always managed to help the Operator keep their licence, I have conducted numerous Audits for Operators as well as Driver Assessments and represented Drivers at Driver Conduct hearings again with positive results.
