Experienced in supporting and managing Operator Licence compliance, drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements, Working Time Directive compliance, vehicle roadworthiness, defect management, driver performance, investigations and corrective action, DVSA audits and follow up corrective measures, giving guidance to newly qualified transport managers and company start ups

A confident and commercially aware leader with extensive experience managing teams of up to 60 drivers, fleets of up to 30 tractor units and 44 routes, as well as multi-site operations. Combines hands-on industry experience with formal qualifications including National CPC in Road Freight Transport, IOSH Managing Safely, ADR and Driver CPC. Particularly strong in identifying compliance risks, implementing corrective action, developing driver competence and improving operational standards.
