PVP Transport Consultancy

I’m Paul Pitt, founder of PVP Transport Consultancy Ltd, based in Swaffham, Norfolk. I bring over 25 years’ transport experience, progressing from Transport Planner through Operations Manager to Operations Director.

My background includes general haulage and specialist transport, including abnormal loads, wide-load notifications, STGO movements and specialist lifting operations. Having worked through the different levels of transport management, I understand the pressures faced by planners, drivers, managers and business owners.

I hold a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage and am a FORS Advanced Practitioner.

PVP provides practical External Transport Manager and compliance support for small and growing HGV operators across Norfolk, Suffolk and the surrounding East Anglia area.

I also help with operator licence applications and variations, new operator setup, compliance reviews, drivers’ hours and tachograph management, transport procedures, maintenance planning systems and FORS preparation.

Support can be a defined project or an ongoing arrangement. Responsibilities, time commitments, site visits and any specialist consultancy are agreed around the needs of your operation.

My approach is straightforward: understand how the business works, identify what needs attention, agree who will do it and follow through. You deal directly with me throughout.
